I got this shobud several years ago in poor mechanical condition as a second steel.

I also own a Emmons push pull but am finding I really like the tone of the sho-bud so much that I want to fix it up and get the tuning a stable as possible as I would like to use this guitar on the job. It has a little too much "cabinet drop". My E goes about 6 cents flat when I press the a-b pedals.

I am looking for these parts:

1. bridge axle. (is this standard 5/16" steel rod?)
2. brass tuning barrels

I also find for example: The 5th string B will stick flat (a few cents) after I press and release the b (raise the g#s)pedal. Then, if I lower the 6th string G# with the knee lever the 5th string will return to it's original state. Possibly some binding on the axle? I did notice it was a little dry/ lacking grease.

The bridge axle has visible wear and fits fairly loose so I'm hoping this will help with the tuning problems. Is wheel bearing grease recommended for this axle?

Thanks,
Martin
