I received the Kick Back stand shortly before a gig Friday night. I took it out of the wrapper, unfolded it and set it up. Without an amp leaning on it, there is no stability. With an amp it is rock solid and fits nicely in the back of all of the amps pictured, except the Evans SE200. On two different less than perfect wooden stages it was stable.

With a Steel King, the wood cross piece in the back of the amp is thin and flexible. If I use the Kick Back with this, I would reinforce it to prevent bowing.

It comes in several configurations to fit most any amp.

I have not made a head to head comparison with milk cartons or bar chairs, but for size and functionality this a great deal.

Is the angle (at which the amp will lean back) adjustable?

Looks like a good product. Me? I tend to put Fender tilt back legs on my amps.

No....the angle is not adjustable.....however, the angle that it sits at is perfect for being able to hear your instrument perfectly when seated.....I have two of these. HAL
