I'll be playing some blues on my uni this week and next with The Philadelphia Blues Messengers. Wednesday nights the 17th and 24th we play at the new Warmdaddy's (South Philly at Columbus Blvd. and Reed St.). Their Louisiana cuisine is half-price before 7:30 on Wednesdays. On the 24th we will have some extra performers and do a live DVD.

This Thursday the 18th we will play in the Northern suburbs at Blue Sky (Germantown Pike just North of 202). They have really good Jamaican food.

At the end of January I am going in for a hip replacement, and wont be playing for a month or so after that. But it looks like we will be back off and on to these two venues.

Cheers,
"Delta" Dave

Bobby, we eat well at these places. The last time we played Blue Sky, they gave each musician a heaping sampler plate of all their specialties, from crab cakes to barbecue ribs. Our first set was kind of lethargic. I'm gonna follow the food with some coffee next time. Smile

I wish I could have been there. Let us know how it went (or better yet, post clips!).

Warmdaddy's was a blast - we play there again next Wednesday, 8:00-midnight. Tonight we play at Blue Sky in East Norriton, 9:00-midnight. Eventually I may have some clips to post.
