| The MPX1 has a separate chip just for reverb but it costs a bit more than the 100 or 500. It's also harder to program but you can talk with Roger Castleberry about that. Sorry, I forget where I bought mine or what I paid (I think it was around $480). I've compared it side by side with some other popular units and to my ear the MPX1 wins. At the risk of sounding cliche--it's rich, lush, & smooth. A wonderful machine. |

I have 2 MPX 100's in my studio rack. I use one for reverb and the other for delay, chorus and whatever and I'm very happy with them. I bought one new at around $200.00 and one used for $100.00. I haven't tried the other models.

| I have an MPX 110 that I'm pleased with - after working with the book, I was able to get some really nice reverbs and combination effects, and you can save 16 presets that still let you readjust certain parameters on the fly (like if your chosen reverb is too boomy for a given room, you can back it off with a single knob or you can change your delay speed with a tap button). The MPX 110 and very similar 100 show up used for $100 - $130 on Ebay and the Forum a lot. I think the MX200 is the current product of the low end line. All of these use the same chips Lexicon uses in their high-end reverbs, but the engineers make some of the choices for you, so they're not as programmable as the MPX 500 and 550 and such - maybe quicker onstage, though. You can spend $2,000 for a Lexicon PCM reverb, or $21,699.95 for a 960L (!), but I don't know a lot about that kind of stuff, for some strange reason. |

i got mine used from Roger Castelberry
perhaps he could help you find one
i don't see many for sale on the Forum
there are some on ebay......rotsa ruck bro' |

| They go on eBay for $350 to $400. I paid $387 only because it was like new and I wanted it. I waited until the last minute to bid and it went from $312 to $387. I put in a maximum bid of $415 just to make sure I got it. I am extremely happy with it and had Buddy Castlebury program it, which is a must. |
