Paul,
I'll take the red fiddle back maple Zum off your hands. I see your profile says you are into steel guitars. Somehow I sense that you really are into steel guitars.
Got any more pictures of the reddish Zum?

Lovely collection! _________________ DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

Pat,
I really doubt that he has me beat. I have 11 push/pull Emmons alone. |

..well, Erv, if collecting Emmons guitars was a sport, I think Paul certainly has enough to make the team...and not the minor league. Maybe we should start a poll "how many Emmons push/pull guitars do you own" so we can find out who to put on the 25 man roster. Maybe I can be a season ticket holder in the bleachers with a measly 2 push/pulls. |

That is not all he does…builds um, repairs um, fabricates parts if need be. I think his best attribute are his polishing skills |

Pat,
I do more than just collect them. I have refinished and rebuilt several p/p's to date. The one I really need to get started on is a p/p that that was once owned by Doug Jernigan. He had it set up from Emmons with 11 foot pedals. Quite unusual. |

...Sorry, guys....when I used the word "collect", I didn't mean to disregard or belittle your rebuilding of the guitars.... |

I don't have all of them anymore in fact the first one is garylee gimble guitar I built for him because he play old one so much the parts were falling out from the bottom. it was a black mica
now it's a birdeye maple and very pretty.
that green single neck was a blue guitar that was trashed and I just sold to a nice guy in buffalo new york. and on the bench right now is a fatback emmons with wood necks and bolt on changers, it's a red sun brust. Thanks for all the nice word I just hope you all enjoy the Pictures

Richard, Erv don't have a camera with a large enough memory chip. I got lost in his guitar room 3 days 1 night. |
