Can somebody tell me why, for no apparent reason, my U Tube videos are stopping every three seconds, most annoying, I can think of nothing that has been altered ? Thanks, James. |

Jim,
If you are on a dial-up connection, press pause until the video is fully loaded, then play it.
Sometimes my broadband connection slows down enough to cause the same buffering problem |

Hi Richard, Happy New Year mate. I'm on Broadband. I've just noticed that it's not on every video. I think I'll restore my yesterday's settings and see if that does the trick. Speak soon, Jim |

i had a similar problem, it was with just a couple of videos and i couldn't figure it out
here is what worked for me, the video was stored in my Temp Internet Files
so i went into Options and erased all "Temp Internet Files"
now when i view those files i couldn't get to work before, now it starts all over with the downloadeing and everything is fine (for now) |

Here's a tip.....Since you can't save Youtube videos, what I do is add them to my favorites so they are always there and easy to access. |

Actually you can... go here:
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
paste in your youtube URL and save.
change the file name extension to .flv
Now I'm on a Mac so I use iQuint:
http://www.isquint.org/
to convert the .flv file to mp4 _________________ Head full of this kaleidoscope of brain-freight, Heart full of something simple and slow

I use something called 'V Downloader'.
It converts the video to MPEG or AVI, so I don't need the FLV player.
I found it free on the net.

Mike-Thanks for the tip. I saved the one that Drew Howard took of me, under "Save Favorites" and it workd. I checked my favorites, it was there, and cliked on it and it played without needing to wait or download. Isn't this Forum great? Thanks again...al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.
