I ran across this old SGF post about the Maccaferri guitar bodies that Elderly Instruments was selling at one time: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum2/HTML/005948.html

I'm not trying to embarrass anyone, but I'm curious. Did anyone ever manage to make a playable guitar out of those bodies? I'd love to hear any stories or see some pictures.

[sheepish grin] Mine's still sitting in the guitar room.
Anyone with a project in mind let me know.

They were all sold out by the time I decided I had to have one. Otherwise mine would be collecting dust.
