I've uploaded a new show to my website for any of you fans of acoustic swing. It's the Moonlighters live at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, dated 12/8/06.

Mike,
I always enjoy the Moonlighters and particularly your acoustic steel guitar playing.
I have you tuned in, as I am posting this message and surfing through other threads. I often listen to Hawaiian radio, Big Band radio, and others as I go through the posts of the day of SGF and HSGA forums.

Mike,
I have now listened through your entire program.
Folks, you gotta listen to this, it is swinging.
It has a nice variety.
I liked the Moonlighters rendition of Bali Hai.
Wait til you hear Mike take off on a King Bennie Nawahi song after Bali Hai. If this doesn't move you, then you must be deceased and don't know it.

Mike -- thank you for posting this. It's wonderful. I love the fact that your ensemble has two female vocalists who can sing harmony (and do so on about every tune). Having that fourth member playing the acoustic guitar really is nice, too.
I've lamented on this before, but man, I sure would love to play just steel in an outfit like yours. I love playing my upright bass, but would gladly give that up if I could concentrate on just steel 100% of the time.
What tunings do you use, primarily? Sorry for the repetition if someone's asked this before.

Todd, I change between E and C#min7. Occasionally, I'll fiddle with the 5th string, lower it to A# in the C#min7 tuning, giving me a faux F#9 tuning.
