eBay auction
I know it's been discussed here before, notably it's a very early steel, and because of the deco design elements.
The seller doesn't provide any full body pics, but (hopefully) here's a few pics from the auction:

The top one is a Harmony, circa 1936, sold by Sears. It was only available through the Sears Catalog, and only for one year. I believe it was the 1936-37 Catalog. Note the "h" (Harmony) headstock. It's a rare lap steel, probably worth about $350-400 in excellent condition, but this one has a missing tuner button... a tough repair on this guitar. I had one of these lap steels a couple of years ago, and I have pictures of others just like it stored on my computer.
The second one looks Japanese, 1950s, and it is branded "Havana". Probably made by Teisco in Japan. It looks a lot like a Teisco.

| I think the "Havana" is extremely cool! But the seller says it'll be easy to replace the missing tuner. ? I've never seen a tuner that looked like those! Looks like it might be Captain Nemos's lap steel! |
