Steel on the webb has a video of Zane tearing this up. He starts his solo off playing [outside the box]. Does anyone know what positions He's starting in ? as well as is there any tab available focusing on this type of playing? thanks in advance Mike Holland.

I believe Zane plays the Zane Beck tuning, so I'm not sure the "position" would help any. And yes, Zane does have a tendency to "tear up" what ever he plays. Can you post the link to the video you're referring to?
