As many of you know, I am involved in the JERRY BYRD FAN CLUB web site. During the course of a year, I receive hundreds of legitimate inquiries, along with tons of unwanted, undesired SPAM.
Today, I received what I believe to be a very sincere inquiry and am therefore seeking the help of all Forumites.
The writer was Jennifer Mielke. She was inquiring on behalf of her grandfather Richard "Sunny" Albright who had just mentioned his long standing friendship with JERRY BYRD on this date. He was quite a steel guitarist himself.
Jennifer is simply wondering if any of you, perhaps from the original Jerry Byrd Fan Club of the 1940's and later, recall Jerry or anyone else mentioning or discussing her grandfather, whom they affectionately call "Papaw"? She'd like to share this information with her grandfather.
