Well friends in our steel guitar family. All of you know Brett Day (or should) through this forum.
Earlier this year Brett performed in Atlanta with the Timeless Highway Band.
For those that don't know. Brett is a 23 year old fine young Christian man that is now in his 7th. year with the steel guitar. Brett has cerabal palsy BUT this has not deterred his enthusiasm for our insturment. He lives and breathes steel guitar.
As you view this video please NEVER AGAIN say you can't do something. If you have the determination, you CAN DO IT.
So here's my friend singing and playing "Bartenders Blues"

Brett, I salute you. There is nothing that can't be done, when you put your mind to it. Although I have not got cerebal palsy, I did have to build my strength up after a very traumatic health issue as my website will disclose. I wish you all the very best in life, and on our lovely instrument

Brett is awsome and hearing him live will put goose bumps on your arms and raise the hair on your neck. You can feel the special magic in the room when he plays.
God bless Brett and the great people in the steel guitar community who help and support his outstanding talent. You'll find Brett's postings interesting and full of information on steel players. |
