This site won't be officially opened for a another month or so . Everything is still a work in progress but the basics have been worked out over the past few years. Content is still being added and of course everything will be ongoing.

In the past I've had many problems when viewing with the various browsers on various operating systems (which is a common internet problem) but it should be fine now.

I would appreciate a little feedback on the following::

1) Did you experience any problems with how the pages were displayed in your browser? (please not concentrate on any problems with the content yet)

2) How was the speed of the content loading such as schematics or BIAB files(download)?

If you have any files that you would like to see added you can email them to me. i.e schematics that you may have that are not listed. A PDF for the schematics is prefered but I can usually work with any file type.

The website can be viewed with the link below

Super idea, Bob. Feel free to put out general calls for material--schemos, photos, etc.

On my Firefox 1.5, DSL everything looks fine and loads quick.

Thanks! Richard and Jon. I always forget about the Mac but I do test for various flavors of Linux(Xandros, Red Hat, SUSE 10 Etc) and MS(98,2000, XP). No known problems yet.

Jon,

I 'm happy to add any extra schematic etc. I only have a few additional schematics for guitar effects(Fuzz), Boss E, Shobud amp, Vegas 400 as well as all the Steel Rider schematics to add. If you have additional info please email me.

Bob,

Great concept you've started.
I had no problems whatever using AOL 9.0 Optimized on a Windows XP based laptop.

Pages rendered quickly and do not have any apparant glitches.

Keep up the good work.

I got a few email asking what happened to "XYZ "(for example)

Everythng on the web site is updated in real time and whole sections may disappear without notice. Usually they are still there but moved to a lower level.

For example: I added a link on the main page for 2003 convention pictures. As I added more picture links that one disappeared from
the main page and one called Pictures was added. Then the 2oo3 Conv pics was available through the Pictures link.

Re: "Back navigation buttons on the pages could help a little "

Yes I agree. I hope to add it over time. I am still in the planning stages and lots of changes to come. One of the biggest problems is time and to do everything on the website the way I want I need the time to learn additional Microcontroller languages (for projects page ) or new computer langages for some of the software ideas I have. I also need to learn various scripting languages to do things such as the menu. I would like to use a tab system at the top of the page but I have to learn how to dymanic HTML to do so. It's on my list.

With all of that, I need still time to play my guitar.

The good news is that the winters in Nova Scotia, Canada are very long

Good idea John. Thanks ! for the comments.
I was actually born in NFLD Canada and they have their own slang and humor. I was going to put in a translate link for Newfies for fun. Google NFLD Canada and you'll probally get the idea.

What's the "BIAB" thing? I can't get those to play - no idea what program it needs.

Thanks! Jack.

Jim,

You need a special program called "Band In a Box" to run BIAB files. I have a link on the BIAB page that you can use to get additional info from the BIAB website.
