Ah, Gene.
I've just spent the last forty minutes at your website. It was time VERY well spent! You really laid the site out great, and the pics and music are super.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed visiting with you and some of the folks that helped you color your life...it was a wonderful journey, and I'm happy that you shared it. I sincerely thank you.

Joy

I don't think it gets any better than 'Moonglow', but then I'm sentimental.
I really like the look of your site; gives me some good ideas about how I'd like to present mine.
Really great playing, as always.

For some reason, after several days of trying, I can't get Gene's site up on my computer.
All the sidebars have an X in them.

Nope; it took a minute for the video to open, but that'd be normal. Other photos are fine.

I like the new look. And I got to hear you do Stardust before. Cool little video.

Hi again, Gene.

I just revisited your site, had to see the video that Charlie mentioned in this thread. But all I got of the video was when the site first opened up, I saw you tip your hat, then the picture just broke up and froze...it kept saying it was downloading, but it never did.. but I did get to hear all of the audio intro you've added. Nice touch!

Everyone should visit Gene's site, what great music and photos, you'll thoroughly enjoy it, I sure did.
Thanks Gene,

Joy

Hey Cowboy, don't know how I missed this thread. Just took the tour down memory lane with you. What a tremendous remembrance. I, too, remember the terrific sand storm days when the blowing sand would remove the chrome plating from the front bumpers and the windshields would be "sandblasted" to the point one could not see out of them on the cars of that day and time. The Rogers Twins, and the tremendous music of that period in our musical history. Hinson Cargill and his humor and wit are also locked in my memory.

What a tremendous and varied life we've lived in this part of our country's history, both musically and environmentally. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

I think your's and Charlotte's true hearts and feelings are best exhibited in this page of your website:
http://www.genejones.com/gabby.htm

My Pop always said you can tell a person's character by how they treat animals. This page is indicative of your family's character. I have loved our association with our animals.

Again, thanks for sharing, and bringing back so many memories for this old Indian. Looking forward to seeing you in the happiest of circumstances. The best to you and yours and may the sun shine on your back daily, throughout your journey through life.
