Sorry to hear the Fest is off Rick.
Wish I could make the Summit! That's going to be a blast I'm sure. |

I believe we'll salvage the weekend. We'll need to cook a pig, though. Better start digging, Rick. Or better yet, howsa 'bout a boxspring hog?[This message was edited by Mike Neer on 09 March 2006 at 06:31 AM.] |

Man, sorry to hear about the liability hassle Rick. It reminds me of Breckenridge Park in San Antonio TX, where I lived as a young boy. They used to have horse back riding and paddle boats and across the street a big amusement center. It's all gone because of insurance issues and the expense of it all. Here in San Diego you hear of people doing secret raves without the necessary paper work, which they can't get because of the liability issues and the high cost of insurance. I've been to a few great out door private parties in the sticks before. I think there more fun anyways cause you can really pick and party without Johnny Law breathing down your neck. |

How are your knuckles? (I have mental images of some walls receiving unfortunate fist punishment as your liability scenario unfolded). Sorry for your troubles but I expect that whatever you guys do pull off will be talked about for years. |

Hmmm ... the Tom Petty approach ...
As far as "Plan B" goes ... I'll stand by my earlier statement:
