If anyone knows of any work at all in the general Los Angeles area for a steeler or 6 string player I'd be most greatful.
Even top 40 country act would be great, just to keep me busy here. Too bad there aren't more Kevin Banford type gigs out here. That fella really did it right, I'm greatful I got a chance to play with him a little.

Hey there Jordan, you might check out Craigslist. I saw an ad not so long ago for a band looking for a steel player/dobro player also maybe the Recycler musicians wanted section.

Actually got a gig off this over the weekend doing a promo video for a fella named Travis Nelson. 11 songs audio and video with an entire hour to learn all of JD's licks on them!
Needless to say, I pretty much played my own licks, but now maybe I'll have some time to learn his for the "next time" .
Keep an eye out for ol' Travis. Good stuff!
