Forum member Larry Beck has this great machine that burns and prints a stack of 25 CDs at a time. With his help, I have reissued my Quasar Steel Guitar CD at a lower price to reflect the lower cost. Click here for the catalog page about the album.
I've always been very proud of this album. I used musicians that I'd been playing with for 15 years, and wrote half of the tunes on it. It has a variety of musical styles: country, blues, swing and even a Hawaiian tune. I think that most Forum members would enjoy listening to this at least once.

I might have played a couple of low notes on one song. It's really just an E9th with two low strings added.
Actually, it was a "substandard" E9th, because at the time I tuned the second string to D and didn't even have a raise on it. Bad idea, but I didn't think about it much. |

It's similar to Speedy West's arrangement, with the modulations and vocals.
Thanks for the plug, Pat. |

Ha guys, got my copy last night, its a Goddie!!!!.For all the new gays out there cut 4 Souther Sunday I think is a great sung to start with. b0b does it slow and clear. I might be a little slanted on that song, becuse its the frist Steel song I really liked some 40yrs ago.And got me started the first time. Buy this CD and see what you think. |

I didn't realize it was that kind of an album. I know that b0b can swing in many directions....didn't think this was one of them.... |

Didnt read that part in the bi laws.Once in awhile we make mistakes, Iam sorry for mine!!In the futher I will respond throuh Email. It takes the fun out of it if you cannt be human and make a mistake once in a while. I was mistaken about this site,I thought it was about Steel Guitars and not how good I can spell. OUT!!! |

Is this cd gay, or is it bi?
We're just funnin' a bit. Nothing serious. Spelling doesn't count. Correct or not, I try to find humor in just about anything. Don't go away. Nobody wants you to do that.
I bought this cd when b0b first came out (oops) with it and have enjoyed it very much.
I'll be going back to my closet now.....

Hey Herman, don't worry about it. The bump and good words were appreciated, especially by me. Bad spelling is always permitted - hey, we even let Bobbe Seymour post here. |

I actually have this album on tape. For a long time I had not listened to it because I was out of the habit of playing cassettes. One day a few months ago I ran across it and popped it in while cooking dinner. It's was really good! Now it's in my rotation.
I'm not sure if it's a bad or good thing, but out of all the steel music I've played while in the presence of my ladyfriend, this is the only one that's gotten a relatively effusive response.
Pick one up!

I've posted about this several times in the past ... IMHO you have to get this album, if only for the recording of Sand! That track is one of the top 10 performances in my entire collections of CDs tapes and LPs (just under 10,000 tracks).
