Can someone post a tune played on these newer lap steel guitars listed below? I have never heard these guitars.

GRETSCH "ELECTROMATIC SERIES" G5700 LAP STEEL, GOLD TONE LAP STEEL.

I am sure some Forumites must own the Goldtone Lap Steel Guitar. When it first arrived at Elderly I heard some very good reviews of this guitar.

I had a Gretch. In fact it was the first lap steel I bought. Nothing to write home about.

A student of mine had a Gretch,- at first I thought it sounded "warm" but then I realized it only sounded "dull".

Do a search for "Goldtone" in the forum archives, you'll find many comments about their lap steel, most of them positive.

Steinar, perhaps a little reverb would have helped?
