Hello all;
I just completed a new 8 string version of my C6th Music Staff / Tablature chart.

Enjoy;

Hi Dom,
Terrific charts, thanks for sharing it. One thing that I wonder about though, I'd really like to see the scale positions represented in these charts. Maybe more people prefer tabs but I always end up transposing the tabs into scale positions. I read and see them better and faster than either fret tabs or even notes.
What I'd really like to see is that option on software like TablEdit etc so you could choose to print it out with scale positions rather than fret tabs...just makes more sense to me. But I'm sure I'm in the minority on this.

Thanks again, Ron

Dom,

What you have provided is "perfect" and represents a lot of tedious work for our benefit. Thanks much.

If you like doing this: what about E13, C#m, B11, etc.?

Aloha,
Don

Check this out

You can enter your own tuning (but are confined to 6 strings unfortunately).

I've found this site incredibly useful for learning chord positions, etc.

I do plan on making more charts for other tunings. I have students on A6th and C6th.

Hey Don, I just noticed you are from Vancouver WA. Thats just across the river from me here in Oregon.

Do you play out anywhere? I will be playing my Lapsteel tomorrow night at Church and Next week we have a fun Saturday afternoon gig at a Sub sandwich shop in downtown Beaverton.

Best Regards;
Dom
