I am a PSG beginner (1 year playing an MSA) and need to upgrade on better parts and accessories. I prefer low price but want reasonably good quality for:

1) Volume Pedal (used OK)

2) Pedal Steel String Tuner (used OK)

3) Picks

4) Strings

5) Patch Cords

I am particularly interested in what brands I should stick with. Any advice on good value starter gear at a reasonable price would be appreciated..Please advise...CF

JF picks will do you well. Check www.jeffran.com for those, I think they're like $5 for a pair.

Finger picks are fine, best you can buy, thumb picks break to soon.
