Keven Hatton is right, this is not compitition for other seats, it is ment for people that cannot spend a lot for a seat. I have a stealers choice and love it, but I wanted a spare to set up and leave in practice room with out spending $350.00.
And you do get what you pay for. The material for this seat cost a little over $40.00, $35.00 for 4 hours labor is not very much, plus driving 45 miles to mail it.
Like I said in the add it is not for every one.

Ernie,
Yep, "not for everybody".
Still, everything has it's purpose. And IMHO, if you want something with the singular design so as to not have to set up or break down equipment, this home seat looks like it will do the job.
I'm wondering, maybe I missed it? How deep or how much room is under the seat for storage? If so any pics of the storage area available? Please advise when you can, Ernie..TX

Ron

Ron it is 2 compartment storage space, by 6" deep, about 12x12x6, under neith is a wood bar accross, the cord can be stored under it and ALso you can carry it by the bar. This might be for someone that would like an all purpose seat, I built mine to keep in the music room but could pull double duty as a road warrior. I use my Steelers Choice for gigs./ Every thing I use on the road stays in the road seat, ready to go.
