Both have an aftermarket 16.5 VAC Basler transformer. I buy these usuall6 6 at a time from Hosfelt Electronics. Great transformer with screw terminals for the cord.
Bassfex $250.00, same unit as a Profex 2, even says Profex 2 on the circuit board. Factory default settings are clean. User bank has the Newman/Peterson combo of settings
