1970 model guitar preamp. Works great. 2 channels, one with reverb and tremolo. Tremolo is a little weak for my taste, but then again I never use tremolo! Great reverb, no noise. Excellent cosmetics to boot! Has that classic Standel tone, probably great for steel. Sure sounds great with my Telecaster.

I downloaded the manual (schematic) from the Standel website. This is the same preamp used in the combo amps of that era.

I noticed an on-circuit board adjustment in the schematic for the tremolo depth. I will adjust that tomorrow when I get back to my workshop in Georgia. That should take of the weaker tremolo it has now. It is the old LDR (light driven resistor) circuit like the Fender Blackface and Silverface amps used.

Simple to use. It has two 1/4" jacks in parallel to feed the signal to a power amp input of an amp (like a Nashville 400) or to drive a power amp (even a stereo amp, as there are two outs).

$200.00 and shipping, very light unit. As there is no power amp in in, it probably is around 20 lbs.
