This is the equipment I used for my home network before I switched to Apple Airport:

Linksys Wireless Access Point Router (BEFW11S4 ver. 2) with 4-Port Switch. Click here for info.

Linksys Wireless PC Card (WPC11 ver. 3). Click here for info.

Both are in original packaging, with CD software. They work well together, so I'd like to sell them together. $60 + postage.

This is just what you need to get your laptop onto the Internet from the back patio.

You run the wire from your cable modem or DSL box into this. It splits it into 4 ethernet outputs and a wireless signal that is broadcast all over your house.

You put the card into your laptop's slot to receive the wireless signal.

This is a really good system. It cost me about $250 when I bought it just a few years ago. I know that prices have dropped quite a bit since then...

Henry, I had to lower the speed to get it to work with my Mac. It worked, but not well. That's why I switched to the Airport Extreme. Works great with PCs, though.

Ron, you got dibs on it. I'll send you an email.

Ray, you can set up encryption via the included software. Some people don't bother with it. I guess it depends on where you live, and how paranoid you are.
