UPDATE: $295 shipped without speaker.

Made about 1990, this amp has channel switching, effects loop, speaker output impedance switch for 4, 8 or 16 Ohms. If you have the correct footswitch (I don't), you can switch or parallel the channels. This is like the Red Knob model except that it has the same-shaped black knobs. Tubes are new Groove Tubes.

Cabinet is the same size as a Fender Twin Reverb, has tilt-back legs, removable casters and has a JBL K-130 15" 8-Ohm speaker. Black tolex and silver/blue grille with Fender logo. Both back panels are in good shape and intact.

Very nice clean condition.

Price is $579 and buyer pays shipping (about $40).

Buy with confidence, I have over 200 transactions on eBay, 100% positive feedback as user spangler41.

Accept PayPal or Postal money order.

I'll sell it without the speaker for $449. Shipping should be less, say $30.

David, I'm not in the market right now, but I'm just curious. I've never tried a red knob Dual or Twin. How does it sound compard to a '70s silver face or a '60s black face?

The clean channel is like that of the '70s Twin with volume, bass, mid, treble and presence controls.

The "lead" channel has the pre gain and master volume in addition to the other controls which lend more toward the overdrive or distortion tones.

One feature I like about it is the effects loop. You could plug in a POD or other processor if you wanted to bypass the preamp section and just have a 100W tube power amp (or 25W if you switch to "low power").
