The Rev500 has been out for a few years (4-5 my guess). I have one and it has some very nice reverb patches. It works well in a PSG, PA or even a recording setup. It is one of those under-rated pieces of gear most folks never hear about. |

Hi Bobby,
I believe that Robert is correct as it seems that I have had this unit for about 4 or 5 years. This unit has some really nice verbs on it, and in general can be used for just about anything, but I think it seems to lend itself nicely to live vocal applications. I had a friend of mine who was a front of house engineer, who loved this unit for vocals. This unit has never been in a club, only racked in a home studio and is in excellent condition. I have never tried this for steel as I have a tubefex and a lex mpx550 that I use for live I can send you a picture and an info link if you like.
Thanks

Great reverb unit. Especially with the 4 knobs on front to control the main parameters.
