When you sell somethig represent it as it is, please. Why sell an item to a forum member that does not work.
I bought an effect unit from a member for$40.00 and when pluged in it does not make contact unless you hold it, hard to use and hold it at the same time. I think the seller thought I had three hands.

Perhaps there was a shipping mishap. I don't know the seller, but I know that UPS, Fedex and USPS can really throw things around.

UPS and FedEx are the ones who toss packages around. USPS has much better handling.

There sometimes are minor differences in the sizes of jacks and plugs.

Have you asked the seller to take back the unit?

This was no shipping error it is an internal problem the plug does not make contact. No I have not asked for a refund it is to much trouble for such a small amount, just tell it like it is when you sell.

Ernest, Totally agree with your comments. I bought a guitar from a member who told me it looked so good you could not even tell it had been played. Well, trust me, that was far from the fact. I figured a deal was a deal and ate it. Cost me a few hundred more than I paid to get it in working order. I do honestly feel these cases are the minority however from our members.

Update, the seller contacted me and offered to refund, I think he is very nice that is why no name was mentioned, I will keep the unit and when Ken Fox catches up with work we will find out what is the matter me or the unit is not making good contact.
I talked to mike on the phone before the sale I paid and he shipped on the same day, I think he is an upright guy and there is no problems with this sale.

I guess I am on a soap box trying to say lets all be good to each other and like a brotherhood here on the forum that is the way i feel about every one here.
