I think I broke his bubble and told him $600 on a good day. He should apply to Guitar Center for a job.
What's with the second jack on the bridge plate? Maybe stereo!!!

It's a big planet out there. There all kinds...
About the re-traced Tadeo Gomez signature in the tuner pocket:
If I've got my Fender lore straight his name has always been highly regarded because of his neck carving skills on early Teles and Strats. Not a lot of impact here on a lap/table steel. I'd be just as impressed if there was a piece of masking tape showing Lupe or Lydia did the wiring of the pots. |

Well, looks like this Tadeo will take a wadeo of dinero.....being that I have enough guitars, I'll bow out and let someone else have the good fortune of this rare piece.... |

$600 for that guitar "on a good day"? It would have to be a FREAKIN' GREAT DAY!!
No legs, no case, broken tuner, and whassup with the extra jack on one of the tailpieces? And the enlarged string holes on that same neck?
No, kids. That is practically a "parts" guitar, IMHO.

Speaking of signed Fender items-- Is there any list of who all the Employees were signing guitars?
Mine has "Eddie" on it and its from late 52'.
Just wondered who he was... |

I bet it doesn't make $400, and that much only becuase it still has Leo's name on it.

Maybe if I got my friend, RAPHAEL A. TOMATO, to sign an old board for me, I could sell it on ebay?

I also burst that guys bubble early on and told him he would be lucky to see more than $500. I guess he proved me wrong.
I am searching for a D8. I will pay a good price for one that is in good shape. Any leads will help! |

You can buy your brothers' 53 D8 as long as someone sells me a Bigsby! It is sitting right here beside me, all shined up.
I just saw that thing over $700 some 5 minutes ago. With unexplainable mystery mods?????
See you next week.

I can't believe that sweet walnut one went for $611! I should have bid.
This TG one is crazy---am I missing something here? Now just about anybody can scribble TG in their steel and double their money. I should take mine apart and have a look.
Why the mod anyway, should I imply that one pickup is much weaker than the other or the player wanted to use 2 amps? |

This guitar has been rewired. I bought a Fender Stringmaster where there was an input jack for EVERY neck. What a concept! You just plugged in whatever neck you wanted to play. Too bad Leon McCauliff (sp) didn't think of this! |
