I dont know the system as to how persons are elected to the steel guitar hall of fame. I for one feel Norm should be a prime canidate. I feel he has paid his dues and contributed to our craft as much as anyone. In my book he is in the league with Don Helms, Buddy Emmons, and numerous others who have been enshrined. Thank you Norm. Lee

Good idea, Lee. All the info about nominating is here: http://www.scottysmusic.com/abouthof.htm.
I learned that from this recent thread proposing the same honor for Basil Henriques.

I totally Agree. Norm just goes out there and gets the job done. A very humble man for what he has accomplished. My votes in for Mr. Norm Hamlet for the HOF.

Hello everyone, I have heard that I have been nominated. But there are others that have been nominated also. It is a long process I am sure to pick two nominees out of all the ones that have been nominated. I would sincerely be honored if it happens to me but with all of the great players that have`t made it yet I am probably going to be somewhat down the line.
Thanks for the good thoughts,
Norm Hamlet
