Wow! Time to celebrate as www.lloydgreentribute.com is about to reach the 20,000 visitors mark!
When the website started in August 2004, I would have never thought that the number of visitors would grow that quickly! Thanks to all of you for your kind support and interest!
Let me also say a great big "Thank You" to Lloyd for the wonderful music he has given us throughout the years. Thinking of the large number of interesting projects Lloyd has played on in the past few months and years, from the Paycheck-Tribute to Peter Cooper, from Red Kilby to Robbie Fulks, I can say I am looking forward to each new release with that magic "Green Touch"!
Kind Regards, Walter

Walter, thanks once again for the wonderful website. If I could be granted the ability to play like anyone, I would want it to be Lloyd. I also enjoy the videos of your playing on YouTube, you are a fine musician. |

Walter,
Yes, yes, congratulations to a great site for a great player.
BTW: Any news on the progress of Dale Watson's, Johnny Paycheck disc. I heard a few things about the production a short time ago and got the idea that it is a recreation, including Aubrey Mayhew and other original players, of the Little Darlin sessions with lots and lots of Llloyd covering those classic steel fills and solos.[This message was edited by Al Moss on 15 April 2006 at 07:59 AM.] |

Al,
I have no info about that project, but be sure, I will keep you all informed about new albums and projects, as the information becomes available for me. The "News" section of the website usually has additional information about new album releases with Lloyd playing. I hope I can add a lot more in the near future!
Kind Regards, Walter

Walter:
It is a cool thing and "you hit the nail with your head" (a favorite Gene Watson saying) in that we have Lloyd to thank for so much GREAT music.
Like my buddy Red Kilby said, Very, Very Cool !!!
My best to you and to Lloyd and thanks so very much.
