Hey Bud, I'm so glad to hear that you are doing well. I have been trying to keep track of your progress. This is certainly good news.
I still don't know if I'm going. If I go,it will be saturday only. I'll most likely be hangin with Bud Carter(Carter Guitars) and Ken and Dorothy Rollans(Steelers Choice Seats)and of course I have to harrass "cuz" Lynn Owsley.

Now I REALLY wish I could go, but this gig of mine doesn't finish until 9/4 ...

I know you're going to have a great time, Bud, and I can't wait for us to swap 'war stories' when I see you later that week on my way home to Naples.

It's been far too long since my last ISGC in 2001....

Bud, it sure will be nice to see you in St. Louis. You need to treat yourself after having all those surgeries and a Steel Guitar Show sure fits the bill. Don't forget to stop at the Jagwire String booth and say "Hi". Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hey Roger. Bud called and said he wanted to lease the private Jagwire Jet for this trip, so I think we're going to let him do that. I figure anyone that can survive that much surgery can surely fly a jet. Probably has enough Morphine in his system yet to at least make him believe he can! Whatcha think? Smile

Hi, Danny!

Another great thing about my friendship with Bud is that he's a pilot - I always wanted to be one, but I now content myself with listening to stories of his aerial exploits!

We've had many a long discussion about the aesthetics of Spitfires and steel guitars...

I dunno about that Jagwire Jet - Bud prefers the 'seat of the pants' kind, I think; fit it with a Pratt and Witney radial engine and then offer it to him!

I'm a little nervous of him going by road - there's room in that van of his for a few more steels...

Hey Roger:
Yes I will be going out on Delta and coming back on American.Since my friend Jack Dougherty retired from American they need all the fares they can get to pay his retirement.
Danny : Thanks you for the offer on the Jag Wire Jet. Can they get into Moorestown with that ?
Roger P. I will see you at the Dallas show.

Bud, it was great to see you in St. Louis this year. I know all of us at the Jagwire Booth enjoyed visiting with you. By the way, you did a fine job of singing in the GFI room. Way to go!
