A student of mine is up in Montreal for a chunk of the summer and is looking for a pedal steel to borrow/rent so he can practice. Shoot me an E mail or reply here if you have any ideas.

There is not much steel here in town anymore The four or five that have them use them most of the time I would say Al is your best bet too No one here carries steels as far as I know
