George is doin' pretty good. A couple o' weeks ago,him & I went to visit Don Helms, after Don's short hospital stay. Then,we went for coffee at the local "Mac's".

I guess I'll have to go over there,& give him my "special" rendition of "H.B."
Thanx for remindin' us Ric.

Smiley add mine to the list of Birthday good wishes for Big George. Tell him I'll call him after our old Boss, Les Severs, gets out of the hospital later this week.

Smiley:

I think it would be great for you to go by and perk him up. I'm sure it would mean a lot to him to know that we all care.

In fact, a verse of Happy Brithday from you will no doubt bring him a big smile for just thinking about you doing it brings one on me!

George is a wonderful guy and a great player. I used to watch him on Broadway at Deemen's Den back in the 70's. Here's a pic of him and Faron backstage at some gig in one of my photo galleries, 5th one.

Happy Birthday Uncle George!
I enjoyed taking lessons from you years ago. I'm sorry this greeting is late. I hope you had a great day, and will have many more happy birthdays to come!

To my good friend George,
Have a great birthday, but tell Miss Sally not to put all of the candles on the cake, it might set the house on fire,
Love you brother,

George, Happy Birthday my friend. I do hope you are doing well. I haven't seen you in a long time but think of you often. I sure miss our little jam sessions we used to have as I'm sure you are too. I hope to see you soon and it would be wonderful if you could make it to the St.Louis show. You have many many friends who would love to see you. Well take care my friend and hope to talk with you soon. Sorry this is late. Bobby
