Damir, a great picture you must treasure!
I did manage to be in the same room with them anyway.
What I would dearly love to hear
is an album with these two greats in dialog.
Just piano, bass and drums behind them.
Come on guys.. you can do it,
I bet it would be a lot of fun too. |

Even though I like our President and think he's doing the best job he can, it would mean more to me to have my picture taken with these two, than with him. Great pic.

Damir, your signature picture is now a "Promat" instead of a "Emmons?"
You have everyone jealous of the pic with the two "masters!"

David,I have had link to Promat web site as a signature for quite a some time now. That doesn`t mean that I don`t like Emmons or Sho~Bud or any other brand, that is just what I play.Yes,this picture is probably one of my dearest pictures. It doesn`t happend every day that people can take a picture with two of their biggest heroes.I was lucky.

awesome picture...
I think it is also worth saying, I have met Buddy several times thru the years, always very warm and friendly, not intimidating at all..
I met Loyd for the first time in St Louis back a few years, '02 I think....same thing..Loyd spoke and treated me like he had known me as a friend for years...
One of the most obvious things I noted about Loyd right out of the gate was that he addresses everyone by there first name...a very valuable asset to carry with you thru life...
Loyd "Dale Carnegie" Green !
Neither walked from a conversation , both treated the moments with importance...
Now try saying that about your favorite Sports Hero or Nascar driver

Great picture Damir. That is something to hold onto for years to come. I have never met Lloyd Green personally but have met Buddy Emmons a few times. I regret not ever getting a picture with him but I do have several of him playing at steel shows. I have found Buddy Emmons to be laid back and humble which means a lot to me. I might mention that Buddys Emmons wife, Peggy Emmons is definitely a sweet lady as well. |

yes,I was kind of affraid before I met these gentleman ,it would be dissaponting for me if my idol`s turned out to be some ego maniacs and I was very happy to find out that they are both great people and I enjoyed every second in their company.I wish them both all the best.
