I think I might have played that one.
Tommy does some of the finest refurbishment
and set up I have seen.

Farris you are a lucky dog to get on of his steels.

An old New England saying is :
"Long after the joy of low price wears off,
lingers the curse of poor quality."

Well Tommy takes that to heart.
He may SEEM a bit more expensive vs some other used steels,
But what you GET is just not the same.

Ask ANYONE who owns one m( or two) of the steels that have passed through his hands.

I must say, after playing this steel from TOMMY for about 8hrs now. I am SO IMPRESSED.

I hate long topics,so i will try to be short

After 40yrs plus playing,not pro.but i have avoided C6th. SCARED of it i guess.

I strumbed accross this EMMONS on C6th.WOW.

OLD JENNING ask me if i could play CATTLE CALL. I said why sure,on E9th.
OK i played it in D because it sounded good there for me.

THEN I went to back neck,AND I ADMIT I HAD TO FIGURE WHERE D WAS ON C6th.
Thats where i started, fret number 2.
then picked strings 2and3 oh was i hooked.

Now i've got it jived up some and making the steel say the words.what a sound.
also i pulled knee pedal R to the left and there was a 7th on string 4 i;ve never had that before.

OK,i'll stop, but must say, don't drive a plain auto, when you can have power steering windows and brakes!!!! AND AIR COND. TOOOOO.

Moral of the story, get a great guitar, and have it set up right. TOMMY CASS DOES THAT.
THANKS AGAIN TOMMY.

I must again say that Tommy Cass is not only a first class steel guitar rebuilder and repair person, but he most definitely a first class person to deal with -- great friend...

Farris I am happy you discovered C6 all of a sudden!

Maybe pick up some of Big E's TAB for C6,
it will open up a bunch of possibilities.

Have fun my friend.
