I would like to know where Jimmy Bivens is, too. I worked with him in Pendleton, OR, Idaho, Nevada and Montana in the early '60's. If you hear his whereabouts, I'd like to know.

I played with Jimmy at the Foothill club in Long Beach in the late 60's. He was a great fiddle player, steel player and lead guitar player and a better than average singer. I don't know if this is true, but I heard he had health problems and returned to Ft. Smith to be close to his family. I also heard he had passed away. So, in short, I don't know anything either. He was/is a lot of fun to work with and a great friend.
