I understand that this company is under new ownership, can anyone vouch for the quality of these steel guitar seats?. Has anyone purchased a seat for this company since it has been under new ownership? I'm looking at purchasing his ATA seat@ 325.00.

Tim, Thom Beeman is a great person and a joy to be around, if the seat is as good as ole Thom, you have nothing to worry about.

I have one built by the previous owner. It's great! I haven't had time to call and talk to the new owner yet but I think they will be as good or better from what I'm hearing.

I'm sure ole "Bozo", Thom will still keep the same quality you have come to expect from this great product. I know Thom personally, he's a great guy. As soon as he gets this thing going again, i feel he will really do well. He will build you a great seat at a great price...great guy to deal with.

I'm really happy with my steelseat. I've got the backrest model with ATA latch and handle.
I'll be logging a lot of seat time now that I've just got my Super Pro back from Leon Roberts. I know I'll be comfortable with no back aches. W.C. Edgar used seat foam like Harley-Davidson uses on motorcycles. You can ride all day in comfort. I recommend the new owner should keep using the same material.

I have the last of 10 seats W.C. built, and I love mine. And you can bet that when W.C. says the new owner will keep the same high standards, you can take it to the bank!

Thanks for the kind words. The seats speak for themselves. Quality and comfort that is copied but not matched.
The quality and integrity of steelseat.com will continue as it was under W.C.. There have been some changes in materials we feel will make for a stronger seat. All changes will be posted on our web-site. Stop by and check us out. How've ya been George?

I've been using mine for a few months now. They are well made, much more stable then my old seat.

You can count on "Bozo" to build you a quality seat. If he doesn't, his sweet wife will lay some lumps on him.
