| Barry, i tried to send you an e-mail but it came back. Have you changed your e-mail address? If you have hope you will give me your new one. After reading the post about you, i found some letters and photos Carlos sent to me in 1973, and would like to share some of the memories of him with you. Also have the tape i made of you working with Patty in 1977 in San Jose and that sure brought some memories back. Hope to hear form you soon. John Hopper |

| I don't know Barry Blackwood, but when I was on KMA (Shenandoah IA) in 1950 the Blackwood Brothers had a gospel quartet show on KMA radio. Any kin?? |

| Don't if they are related, but Barry Blackwood is a very accomplished pedal steel player who has resided in California for many years. He was playing in a club in San Jose in 1977, where i met and heard his very tasteful playing. He does some absolutely great things with pedal steel. During out time there, my wife and i had the pleasure of hearing Barry, Pete Grant and Carlos Claveria all fine players. TJH |

I was talking to Patty last night and she is going to try to track Carlos down for us. And by the way, she was married to Carlos. |
