I saw Lee Ann Womack in concert last night at Casino Rama. Great singer and fabulous band. Nice to hear the PSG and the fiddle in the mix. I don't know who was on the PSG, but he did a great job. If you get a chance to catch Lee Ann when she is in your area, take in the show. You'll enjoy this one. |

Last I heard, when Rusty Danmyer's not touring with LeAnn Rimes, he goes on the road with Lee Ann Womack. What brand of steel was the guy playin'? Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10 |

I'll be doing a show with Ms. Womack and company next month and in the band list we received, the steel player is listed as Dan Galysh. Dan is a forum brother. |

This is good news. I saw Lee Ann back last fall and she had NO steel player with her on that tour. Still a very nice show all in all but, of course we all want to see/hear steel with our singers! Sure is easy on the old eyes as well as the ears . As I recall, back then a lot of us posted complaining about the lack of a steel player on that tour. Could it be that the news got back to Lee Ann? Just in case it does...." Lee Ann, run away with me and anything your money can buy will be ours"
He, HE, He!!

Jack, thanks for coming to the show. I'm having a ball. Be assured that Lee Ann loves steel and fiddle. Y'all come out and say hi if you can.
Brett, I'm playing a Carter.

Dan. So nice to see you reply. It's obvious from the material in the show that a steel has to be part of this concert. As a new player, I really enjoyed hearing a see you play. All the best on your future shows. |

I am so glad she has a steel player with her; we do a lot of her numbers...hard to imagine a great singer like her, with her songs that lend themselves to a steel, without one. Glad she has made it to the place where is pays to have one... |

Hey Dan,
I'll see you in Chicago when you will be filming the PBS series Soundstage. I think it's on June 2nd. I'm the audio designer and live mixer for the show.
I'm looking very much forward to your show. Just before you, it's Train, All American Rejects and New York Dolls! Yikes...I'll be ready for some real music!!!
There is a slight possibility that I'll see you at the Genesee Theatre. We may be bidding on supplying sound for that show too.
TC
