My wife and I were at the same concert. Ray sings as great as ever. The band was great, the overall sound was good, though Mike could have been up a little in the mix. |

I just saw him last weekend. His singing was great and the band was awesome!
He had Buddy spicher on fiddle, plus three more violins.
The piano player was excellent, as well as the steel player. BUT, the highlight, I must say, was the sweet sound of those fiddle parts. |

When we saw him in Branson (April 6th) he had Dale Morris Jr on fiddle with 5 others and yes Lee, you're right, Mike was not up in the mix. |

I spoke to Mike Friday while he was on the bus in route to Miami OK. and the steel/mix thing came up....That is something that is out of OUR control...
Welcome to my nightmare...Ronnie
I might add Dale Morris Jr. has been my favorite fiddle player for many years.. |

Ray also performed at Yukon, Oklahoma, on April 29, about 8 miles from my house. I had planned to go and was anticipating hearing Mike play.....but the best plans of mice and men go astray and I was unable to attend.
