i just got the Mullen that i bought from Frank Mc Bride . BEAUTIFUL GUITAR frank is a pleasure to deal with

Well, I'll be....I spotted a partial sheet of mica like that a couple years ago, it was about to be thrown away.
I commented to a steel playing friend that it would make a remarkable looking guitar.
Didn't have any idea that the folks at Mullen were about to do just that.

Way to go Calvin. You won't find a better guitar than that. My D-10 is Canyon Black Marble. Even if it didn't play good, it's worth a whole lot just to sit behind that most purtyist fretboard in the world

Very purty guitar Calvin. I have a D10 about the same color. Is that blue maple?
Mine is blue maple and has stock Mullen pups on it. Love the tone!

thanks , i am not sure what Mullen calls it, i'll just call it blue marble
i have just been playing Great Speckled Bird from winnies book and ooooooooh my gosh it sound so pretty.
