I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Bowman today as he took some time out of his busy schedule to do some needed adjustments on my Zum. Not only did he make me feel like an old aquaintance, but he went so far as to offer some much needed tips on my meager playing. Thank you Bobby. I am proud to call you my friend.

Bobby is a good guy, I had the pleasure of hearing him play at the NTSGA April 4th, also Chubby Howard was there playing with him they sounded good. Chubby's son Sung us some songs..

I have to call him Dr. Bowman because he must have at least a PHD in steel guitar. I don;t think I've touched the endplate tuning screws on my Bowman-ized push pull since he worked it over 6 or 8 months ago. Not only that he and his lovely wife are the nicest folks you could ever hope to meet. Thanks Bobby

| I had talked with Bobby Bowman frequently in the steel guitar chat room, and I thought what a nice guy, he always had answers to any questions I had, and he never made me feel like it was a stupid question. He has always made himself available to the folks in our business and is knowledgable about the steel. Bobby enjoys brining along the new guys that are starting out in this business, and his experiences and stories from the past are a blast. Then I got to meet Bobby at the Dallas show, and everything about him is real, you can bet you always know where Bobby Bowman stands on any subject. I suggest any steelers out there with any aray of questions, Bobby Bowman can answer them, if he does not know, I'll bet he knows where to go to find the answer. Bobby Bowman is tops, oh yea and he's a fellow Texan. |

| Yes, a fine gentleman and great steel player. I was fortunate to have been at the TSGA Jamboree the year that he was named, "steel player of the year". His most humble acceptance of the award was very touching and a moment that I'll never forget. |

Yall be careful, saying all this good stuff about Bobby and he wont be able to get his head back into the shop to work on guitars.

I sure have enjoyed talking with Mr. Bowman in the chat room and all the great advice he's given me. Great sense of humor, great player, does anyone have more knowledge about PSG than he does?, but most of all Bobby just seems to really care about people.
What a nice guy, I am a huge BB fan and i hope to meet have the great pleasure of meeting him in person sopmeday, maybe buy him a pint of bluebell. Cheers Bobby

Bobby Bowman became my "new best friend" the first day I met him. He "Bowmanized" my guitar and transformed it from a good guitar into a great guitar. He is a man who always has time for everyone, and you feel enriched having him as your friend. If you do not have his CD - "Pure And Simple", you should contact him right away and get one. Bobby is a super player with a fine example of "that tone" we all love to hear.
