Last night in Nashville, I stopped by Legends on lower Broadway and heard this great sounding tele player sitting behind a LeGrande III. He leaves the tele in the playing position and quickly picks up a bar and rips off some fabuluos steel stuff, throws the bar into a rag on the C6 keyhead and proceeds to totally rip on the tele with almost no time for the switch. So then he starts splitting one solo between steel and tele. If I didn't see it, I'd swear it was two players. I asked him his name and all he would tell me was his first name, which is Danny. Does anyone know who this dual duty dude is? Is he on the forum? I'd like to send him an email to let him know how much I enjoyed his playing. Oh yea, he played the tele stuff with his fingerpicks on and the tone (steel and tele)was really great.

I would have to agree with Steve. I saw him doing this too. Crazy talent that man has. And he does it as if it is just natural. He was doing some touring with Trick Pony after he left Ray Price. If you all see him again, tell him hello for me.

TC, Think he had to beg the wife for the new tele and PSG?
You know he pays for his stuff over and over with that talent.

No doubt it was Danny he's a great guy and a good friend of mine. When the Lord was passing out talent he gave Danny a double or triple dose :-)Danny and I use to work gabes in Nashville and man did he love to play parts and of course I didn't mind that. I'd rather play parts than eat wow did I just say that LOL. Danny drop in here sometime and say howdy I miss ya man it's been a long time.
