Did Jerry record Amazing Grace on any of his albums? Which one? I was playing through his TAB of it and it's beautiful! I'd love to hear HIM play it.

Are we talking Jerry Douglas or Jerry Byrd (or Jerry Garcia)?

Jerry Byrd of course. I'm surprised he didn't record it. I can hear him all over this arrangement. Tons of slants and split bars. Modulates through 3 keys, all harmonics (natural ones) for one chorus. Really exceptional.

Sacred steel territory! The Campbell Brothers and The Lee Boys; both bands do heart-wrenching versions of this song.

WHY? Was JERRY BYRD barefoot in Winchester?
