Being as this section's description is "Steel Guitarists and their Music " and that I'm a Steel Guitarist and this is regarding my music, I think that this MAY be the right place to pose the question, What do I do next ?
1. I bought this:- FreeHand MusicPad Pro Plus
And the invoice omitted the FREE Stand so I e-mailed them.
2. They E-mailed me a receipt and the FREE Stand was NOT on it.
3. Today I received the MusicPad Pro Plus and the Deluxe case that I also ordered, BUT NO STAND !!
What recourse have I as they haven't (as yet) responded to my communications?
b0b, if I'm in the wrong place please feel free to either delete this or guide me to somewhere suitable !![This message was edited by basilh on 21 February 2006 at 07:10 PM.] |

You need to put a letter in writing (snail mail) via recorded delivery. You can never guarantee that an email note is received, although I suspect that the company is ignoring your emails. If you bought the item on a credit card, then you may be lucky and you can pursue a claim through the card company, but you must be able to demonstrate that you were intitled to the stand (easy enough from the web page) and that you have tried to communicate with the company concerned with no joy. |

I would try to contact the company on the phone - e-mail communication with online companies is usually futile. I have purchased through Music 123 without any problem before though, I don't think that they're any kind of scam outfit - if you actually get to talk with somebody, I'll bet it gets cleared up quickly. If not, you can always report them to:

Over the years, I have dealt with Music 123 on numerous occasions. Never had a problem.

Basilh:they owe you the $199.00 free stand that is also included.I hope that you used a credit card to do this transaction?I bought a Washburn guitar from music 123 about 5 years ago, after two months it still had not shown up,I had my credit card people go after them...I got my money back, they seem flakey to me,I would make them give you the stand,It's part of the "Deal",Stu |
