Well, for the TSGA Jamboree, my usual drill has been to board the hotel shuttle at DFW, get off and walk the 10 ft. into the Harvey, that being the last contact with the outside world for 96 hours or so - well once I think we went for some BBQ w/Smiley...and he drove ...however, this year we’re in town March 8 (Wednesday), so can y’all let me know if there's any live music happening that night, say in a 60 mile or so radius of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Megaloplex?

Thanks in advance

Boo, Thanks for the kind words, and it was sure good to see you the other night. I will be going to my Ships re-union the week of Mar. 6-7-8-9, but RON STAFFORD will sub on vocals, and guitar for me... He is AWESOME! He subbed for Buddie on steel, a while back, and he is also an incredible steel player. He's the guy that sat in on my Telecaster the last time you came out, and I sat over there at the table with you.

The Finish Line will be expanding their capacity in a couple of weeks, and the music will be interupted for a short time only, then it will be business as usual, with more room, and a bigger dance floor. Check out the website; www.thefinishlineclub.com to learn more about it. Dale Morris Jr. is back with us on Tuesday nights, and getting better (Health wize) all the time. The benefit went well considering the icey highways. Thanks again.

Wednesday, March 8th Merle Haggard will be at the Southern Junction in Rockwall, TX. My band, Kirk Dillen, is scheduled to be there also, but I don't know any details (if we're playing before, after or both). For more info, and directions to the club check out the club's web site:
