Depending on what times you will be in the area, there are a couple of shows coming up that are always good, and not too far from Savannah. On February 5th, Jerry Braswell's Northwest Georgia Steel Guitar Show will be at the Shrine Temple in Atlanta. This one featues John Hughey, Herby Wallace, Russ & Laney Hicks and Randy Beavers along with a lot of local talent. On February 19th, the Southern Steel Guitar Convention in Saluda SC will feature John Hughey , Herby Wallace and some more great local talent. Not as close by but what promises to be a great opening show for the Alabama Steel Guitar Association, February 26th in Montgomery,AL featuring Don Helms, Ron Elliott, Russ & Laney Hicks, Lynn Owsley and great local talent. I'm sure there are local players in the Savannah area also that you can hook up with. Glad to have you in our neck of the woods!

I was dumping some old Saluda videos on to DVD this week. You were playing your Emmons, Bill Ferguson was playing his Emmons. It was from about 95' Been along time since I saw you or Bill. I know yall don't even remember me. It was before I moved to Nashville. I was in Saluda in 97 too I believe. Newman had a sinimar and singled me out as a good player. Then I got mobbed during break. I guess Harvey Reynolds finally quit playing Huh ? Thank for for the reply Mr. President. I sent my $10 to Donna earlier this week to join up with you guys. Hope to see you in Atlanta. Been keeping a pretty tight schedule here. Been working 2 to 4 days a week ever since I hit town. www.philhadaway.com & www.elevatedbasement.com been keeping me busy too. Nice people here but after living in Nashville this place is way slow. No one gets in a hurry & theres definately a difference in the caliber of musicians.
