I bought a DVD of a live show of Loretta, she did in Edmonton. Don't know the year.
Does anyone know who play pedal steel on this one?
The steel player plays an Emmons, and he plays fantastic!

Marco,

I think that is the same show that already was released as video tape before, early 80's. The steel player is Bob Hempker.

Kind Regards, Walter

It IS Bob Hempker. And you're right, he is a fantastic player. Is that DVD only available overseas? I'd really like to have a copy.

I would buy you one, but these are in PAL video format. Probably won't play on most American tv's.
I found these 3 DVD in a box of cheap stuff: The Loretta Lynn concert, a live concert of Charlie Pride, and a DVD of Ray Price with Jimmy Day on steel. They were 5 Euro each, what a great day

Marco,

It was nice of you to offer to buy me one, but I think I found a way to get the DVD here in the states. It's not bundled like yours was, I can get just Loretta. I hope it works, Bob is defiantely one of my favorite players. Every time I hear him play, I fall in love with the instrument all over again.
