I hope that I am not going to repeat some news that is already out there. I heard today that Mr. Ralph Mooney is going to make an appearance in Mingus, Texas on April 1 at the Trio Club. He will be playing with the Country Drifters. This will be a reunion of the band. It ought to be a great place to catch Mr. Moon up close and personal. Ralph played on a album this group cut I believe the year was '82. It is supposed to be available for the first time on CD that night. Oh... If your around on Sunday make sure to catch C.B. Sutton at the Trio. I will be playing with him from 5-9. They haven't posted the info on this reunion on the website yet. I will include the site so you may check as the date approaches. I received this info from a live radio show out of Ft. Worth today.
