Okay, sorry, I'm morbid. I've always been curious about this "stomping to death" thing. Aside from the Cooley story, I've never heard of anyone taken out by a stomping. Did Spade throw his wife on the ground and then jump up and down on her with heavy boots or something?

I've wondered when Hollywood would get around to it. Sex and drugs and rock'n'roll. I'm sure the emphasis/exploitation will on the dark side or his life. Johnny Cash, Spade Cooley, I bet Hank Williams will be next. Once they start a theme they keep it going, and celebrities always seem to die in threes, even it's a second death via Hollywood.
